Alternatively 5Q5, with their compact size and multiple mounting options, can be used in a wide range of installations from bars and clubs to shops and other venues.Each 5Q5 fixture is powered by five quad-colour RGBW (red, green, blue and white) LEDs. These LEDs combine to offer extremely smooth colour mixing (with a 400Hz refresh rate) across an almost unlimited pallet with everything from striking, vivid colours to soft pastel shades. Each fixture can be fully dimmed 0-100% and has inbuilt variable strobe capability. Each fixture can be controlled individually by 2,3,4 or 7 DMX channels, in master/slave mode or via the optional wireless controller. The 5Q5 also has inbuilt shows which can run in sound-active and automatic modes.Thanks to the use of LED technology, the 5Q5 has several key advantages over the use of traditional lamp or halogen effects. LED fixtures generate a very small amount of heat which is perfect for uplighting where a fixture will run, often unattended, all night. LEDs have an incredibly long life of 50,000 plus which, doesn’t only reduce the amount of costly and time-consuming lamp changes required, but also cuts down on mid-event failures.
