Here I have for sale a rare McGregor SD10 DJ deck. The deck consists of 2 Soundlab RT12 turntables each with variable speed control and 33/45rpm switch. Both decks are in working order and both stylus’ are good. As well as this both decks come with Soundlab Anti-static slip mats and there is a lid for the whole deck.
Deck has a power amp built in capable of supplying 250W at 4ohms or 150W at 8ohms. It is unclear if these stated power outputs are RMS or Max so I am assuming these are the max outputs.
I/O – The deck features 2x aux in points on the front (both ports are 5 pin Din) as well as 2x Jack inputs for microphones. Each mic has a gain control, fader and seperate bass and treble controls as well as a Priority switch to speak over the music.
– Monitor section has 1x headphone jack but allows you to split the audio from both decks into each each individually as well as listen to the 2x aux inputs.
– Finally the output section has a 5 band graphic EQ (65Hz, 120Hz, 1KHz, 4KHz 8KHz) and controls for Left and Right channels of the output.
Also included are a set of NJD NJ578 passive PA speakers. These speakers are 100W RMS and 8ohm and have a Speakon input and a Speakon link output on the rear of them.
Also included is cabling to get you working;
1x Mains power lead (all you need)
1x 5 pin din to 3.5mm jack (for plugging in your phone or laptop)
2x Jack to Speakon cables (connecting speakers to deck)
This deck used to be in a pub in Stirling until it closed down about 5/6 years ago and the speakers were brand new when I bought them. Bought the whole lot about 4 years ago and have only used it for listening to records at home as I was having a lot of trouble finding a replacement stylus for my old record player. Unfortunately I am moving soon and will not have any space for this anymore so I am having to reluctantly sell it on. I was never using it for its true purpose anyways so I hope someone else can get better use out of it than me, and yes I am aware it is outdated but (Who DJ’s with records anymore?? XD) but I hope it appeals to someone out there.
Asking price is 300 based on working condition of the Deck, included cabling, speakers and slip mats. Collection in person or we can look at meeting halfway or I can deliver within a reasonable distance for petrol money, A quick check on Parcelforce’s website puts postage at around 50 (FK13 to G11 used for quote).
