Puma brand disco light MH-275/2 This has been hanging around for ages. It works in that it lights up and whirrs a bit, I dont know about the DMX connection as I have nothing to test it with.Anyway, its sold as for spares so is up to you to check it out – as far as Im concerned it doesnt work and you buy it taking responsibility for any and all faults. Just like a real auction.
Im sorry the carriage is a bit fierce, I just expect to have to have a lot of packing around it.
It can run without a controller, just flick switch 10 to choose the pattern. However the tip of switch 10 has broken off so you need to use a very small pointed thing to move it. Carefully!
Customer happiness and the basis of sales
Basically, I’d like to treat you as I’d like to be treated. When I’m buying something, I like to think that I’m buying from a person who’s not trying to rook me by concealing things or telling me lies. But, and this is a big but, when I’m buying second hand stuff for 1% of the original price, I don’t expect it to be new. So, please don’t chew me out for something that looks a bit used or hasn’t been calibrated for 5 years. Unless I say otherwise, it’s all spent some time in a skip or a cold and miserable MoD store and may need a bit of love to get it operating at full speed again.
Everything I sell, with some very rare exceptions, is sold as “not working” or “for spares”. Usually I don’t have the time, the equipment or the expertise to test it properly and, even if I did, it might stop working tomorrow. However I will tell you whether it powers up; whether it does what I’d expect it to do when I press the buttons or pull the intricately engraved brass handles or even whether it’s got a large hole in it where the expensive bit used to be. Please look at the photos, treat my comments as an informed opinion rather than absolute fact and buy on the basis that it may be full of rust or missing the very piece that makes it work. I know most people don’t expect miracles for peanuts but there are a few buyers out there that make an artform out of being impossible to please.

I will probably cancel bids from bidders who are bidding from outside the UK or have feedback less than 10 or have not traded in the last two months, UNLESS I get an email from them confirming that they have read and understood these terms of trading especially those regarding carriage and payment.
The carriage cost quoted applies only for shipment in the mainland UK but I’m very happy to ship abroad as long as you’re happy to pay for it. I pack well and I generally use Parcelforce because the paperwork is minimal but if you really want me to use UPS or similar then you need to arrange the pickup and prepay the charges. In any event the buyer pays all shipping and packing charges in advance for his specified method. Please don’t waste my time and yours emailing me to ask what the carriage is to wherever you are. – Please check with your countrys customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying You can also usually arrange to collect items if you want but do consider that an hour driving is probably going to cost 10 for the fuel which tends to make my postal charges look quite attractive.
Ebay has been pushing to make us all offer free carriage. I think this just distorts the apparent price of the item being sold and so I make the cost of carriage seperate and clear. If you buy multiple items I will try to pack them together and pass on any saving to you. In the meantime, I will start to offer free carriage when ParcelForce offer to deliver stuff for free.
I accept payment by cash on collection, cheque, bank transfer, postal orders and, for payments over 10, Paypal.
