For sale here is a Road Ready model RRLPHW, designed to transport a large number of 12inch records.
This is not your average record box, it is built like a proper touring flight case, and holds more than double the number of records of a traditional record box. I’d guess that it can hold 120+ records, but I haven’t counted. The case weighs approximately 14kg, which gives you an indication of the quality of it when you compare that against a typic record box (~5kg).
The case has butterfly catches at each end so that the lid can be lifted off easily, and is foam lined with good quality dense foam.
I bought this for a gig abroad, and have only flown with it twice whilst I have owned it. It has been on a couple of road-trips, but it is barely used and shows almost no signs of wear.
