Stanton VRM-10 Valve Mixer, with flight case.
Very rare DJ Mixer that when released was Stanton flagship mixer.
Designed by Vermona for Stanton the sound quality is incredible. Even compared to my Xone 96.
The valves can be turned on and off, while off this is still a very impressive mixer but when switched on add a warmth to the sound I’ve never heard from another DJ Mixer. It’s probably ideally suited to house or techno although any electronic music would benefit from this mixer. I play hard techno and loved using this mixer but unfortunately I have no space for it as my main studio I have the Xone and my private studio I can’t fit this fairly wide mixer in the small space I have so sadly I can’t see it sitting not getting used any longer.
4 Channels, 2 mic inputs and a comprehensive effects channel.
The frequency the mid EQ targets can be adjusted on the 4 main channels to accurately cut, or isolate exactly the range you want.
Low and high pass filters that can be assigned to any channel in a very similar way to the Allen & Heath filter on the Xone mixers but you can control 2 parameters, the Resonance and the Cut off, which is amazing for live performance and adding energy during mixes.
A wide range of effects are available and xanve assigned to any channel, including multiple channels at the same time. One of my favourite features is there are 4 different parameters to control the effects giving a huge range of sounds.
There is also a auxiliary send and return that can be used as an effects loop to add your own pedals, etc.
