THIS AUCTION IS FOR A RETRO MOONFLOWER, MULTICOLOURED Light Effect.
This was a very effective part of my Mobile Disco lighting system.
A substantially built effect it is able to function stand-alone and ceiling or floor fill on its own.
A colourful display casting coloured lamp on a ceiling or dance-floor and the images rotate to the music.
I’ve tested the unit, the rotation motor and microphone are working, the rotation being controlled by the ambient sound. This could just need a lamp and or a lamp holder to cure the light source.
The lamp for this is a fairly inexpensive 12v 100w 2-pin halogen capsule.
After use this unit should be allowed to cool before handling to prevent premature failure of the lamp.
A well used but reliable effect this is probably ready for another coat of matt – black paint but ideal for a starter or increasing someone’s lighting display.
Tested prior to advertising this unit is fully working.
Multicoloured mirrored projection cup rotates and projects rotating beams of light which look brilliant in a little bit of haze or fog. The beams terminate in a bulb filament image which are Multicoloured and rotate to the bass/treble component of music in the room. Images shown in the photos. A 2 – way switch at the rear changes the operation from constant illumination + sound operated movement or illumination and movement operation due to the sound.
Complete with mains cable & hanging bracket this effect is much more effective shone over a longer distance to allow the beams & image to spread. Focusing of the image is possible by loosening the bulb holder bracket slightly underneath and sliding backwards/forwards.
The bulb is accessed to change it via a sliding top lid fastened with 1- pozi – drive screw.
