I have for sale a Trusslite Booth Kit, in good used condition. Apologies for the poor lead picture – its the best I could find on the net of the full assembly – it is too big a unit to put together in the house, and our garden isnt really a suitable space to display it, either. Im pretty sure that anybody interested in this lot will have a good idea of the booth anyway – and there are other images on the net, and plenty of info, if you Google Trusslite Booth.I bought this second hand, about four years ago, for a project I was going to pursue in retirement. The swift arrival of four grandchildren means that the project has been abandoned, and the kit is, therefore, surplus to requirements.It was originally a kit for a 2 metre by 4 metre booth (2.5 metres high) but, during couriering to me, the two 2 metre top beams were slightly bent at one end, and wouldnt assemble. I wrote to the seller, saying I was contacting him about the problem before attempting a repair – and he immediately supplied two brand new 2 metre sections. Subsequently, I have repaired both damaged beams (photo supplied of slight webbing bend post repair) so there are now far more possible booth sizes that can be formed with the available components.The following components make up the kit:-4-off 0.5 metre high feet4-off 1.5 metre upright sections4-off 0.5 metre by 0.25 metre corner pieces 4-off 1.5 metre top beams4-off 2.0 metre top beamsSpare pins and spring clips
This allows you to build the following 2.5 metre high booths:-2 metre by 2 metre2 metre by 2.5 metre2 metre by 4 metre2 metre by 4.5 metre*2.5 metre by 2.5 metre2.5 metre by 3.5 metre2.5 metre by 4 metre
By purchasing an extra pair of joining sections (about 7 on eBay) you could use all the sections to also make:-3.5 metre by 4.5 metre*4 metre by 4 metre
*Although physically possible to construct a 4.5 length booth with the parts, Trusslite only go up to 4 metres as a catalogue size for a four leg booth. Going to 4.5 metres may not be recommended.
When supplied new, the components are bright plated. Any damp, and hand perspiration, does start to quickly oxidise the surface. The components are, in the main, still bright, but there are patches of minor cosmetic oxidation. Please see the photographs – I have photographed the worst of the affected areas. I think you would have to store in a pretty dry environment, and handle with gloves, to keep it shiny and perfect. Price new would be over 1000.Ive advertised as collect only from Darley Abbey, Derby. Very difficult to pack, and previous experience would suggest its quite likely to be damaged, if sent by courier.Happy to accept cash on collection, if you want to inspect before parting with money.
